Blonde is five guys from Milwaukee who met through a mix of late-night bike rides, house shows, and mutual friends who kept saying “you need to jam with this dude.” What started as two people messing around on a porch turned into a full band that plays together almost every day.
The sound pulls from everywhere — indie rock, R&B, whatever someone brings to rehearsal that week. Milo sings, Chris and Callum handle guitars, Abe’s on bass, and Jack holds it down on drums. They write songs in basements and garages, record when it feels right, and play shows whenever they can.
“I was biking in Wauwatosa late at night and found Chris playing guitar on a stage at a park with no shirt and his guitar was plugged into an amp. I told him that I sang, asked him if he wanted to start a band and we exchanged phone numbers.”
